Fruit For Breakfast

It's been 13 years since 9.11

Say what?

13?

I can recall that day as if it was today; this morning.

Sadness

Shock

Sickening

Surreal

I quietly observed the morning.

Thinking of all those families and friends

of those who were lost.

......and it's not the end of the story is it.

We may have more sadness ahead.

I could fall in a pit of fear

but I choose to stay on the sunny side.....

I had fruit for breakfast

Watermelon and Cantaloupe

Did you know that NYC has 

7000 cameras 

that watch everything

every day

I think we just need to embrace

each hour

fill it with

love

for each other

and love

for things that can 

make our lives more joyful

Hazy Beach Fog

It's unclear.

The lake is vanishing

but to where?

It's so quiet here this morning.

Hazy memories and markings

lay on the damp sand

A few stand on guard to watch

the misty air blanket the town

This weather can't diminish 

this colour

I love these colours

The faint.

I shiver thinking of a ghost ship

slipping forward towards me

in sea glass colours

Even the green trees are foggy.

Colour fields delight.

These two contemporary abstracts
